Upstream seeks volunteers for HOPE Volleyball Summerfest 2025

OTTAWA - Upstream Ottawa is looking for volunteers to assist with the fun-filled HOPE Volleyball Summerfest on July 12.

Upstream is one of five charitable organizations selected as recipients of HOPE’s support this year. The 43rd HOPE Volleyball Summerfest will happen July 12 at Mooney's Bay Beach.
Upstream needs volunteers to be greeters and scorers at the tournament. No experience is necessary. Volunteers must be aged 16+ or must be accompanied by an adult if younger. Mandatory training will be provided on-site (Mooney's Bay Park and Beach) on the evening of July 9. Volunteers must be able to work for one or two five-hour shifts on Saturday, July 12. Meal(s), a parking pass, a HOPE T-shirt, and an entry ballot for a Volunteer Appreciation prize draw will be provided.

Upstream provides a range of critical community supports and affordable housing options to adults and youth living with mental health and substance-use health issues. Services include: intensive mental health case management, housing, youth support services with a focus on Black youth and their families, crisis prevention, medication management and life-skills coaching.
Alongside our clinical mental health and substance-use health support services, Upstream offers clients a variety of wellness services. None of these services are funded by government.
