Like most teens, our son doesn’t listen to us. This [youth] program allows him to live his life and have privacy… while also getting support.

Before it was like there was a ladder and everyone is climbing, but I was stuck at the bottom. Now I am starting to climb.

 I’ve been an Upstream client and without them I don’t know where I would be today. I have a great worker and all staff is always available for me anytime I need to talk to someone. Keep up the great work.

Many thanks to my wonderful worker and other staff. I honestly don’t know where I would be now without these services. I hope to see Upstream flourish and continue to be in the community for a long time.

I am really enjoying all activities that Upstream has to offer. I think that this will help me accomplish my goals. Thank you!

My case worker Dorota has been extremely helpful in dealing with my son and with my own issues. I don’t know what would have happened to me if she hadn’t entered my life. She listened and explained to me things I couldn’t understand and giving me directions I might try out. She is patent, kind and understanding. I was desperate and in need and she helped to make me a more strong person. Thank you Dorota and Upstream for all the care and concern you have shown me. I honestly don’t know what would have happened!

 I find the support from Upstream enables me to have more confidence in achieving my goals. Sometimes just find the time to talk with someone who cares about your progress makes a big difference.

I want to thank the collective organization that is Upstream.  The work you do for those struggling with mental health issues is amazing and I will forever be inspired by the compassion and empathy that I received from your wonderful group.

I learned so much from the case workers at Upstream and I am forever grateful to the organization for helping me recover from my issues and get my life on track.  Thank you so, so much.

Your organization gave me a home and amazing support when my mental health issues became such that I could not live at home anymore.  Upstream gave me a sense of independence and an enormous amount of support.
